Taneira targets 15 stores by 2020

Taneira, a saree retailing venture from Titan Industries Ltd with 4 stores in Bangalore and Delhi, now targets to open 15 stores at mixed location portfolio across metros and mini metros of India. Making their debut in 2017, Taneira recently re-crafted their design ID towards the theme of ‘Tree of Life’ and has incorporated various indigenous handcrafted elements to the store design.

On taking the design ID to next level and overall expansion, Shyamala Ramanan, Business Head, Titan Industries, shared with Retail4growth, “We started the journey of Taneira with a store in Bangalore to position the brand firmly and ever since, it has been a learning process. We recently created a whole new ID with Auroville-based design agency Dustudio, which is inspired by various natural elements. We opened our biggest and first flagship store under this ID in Delhi and will be taking this ID ahead in many interesting forms, depending upon market and store floor sizes. For example, our latest store at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, is themed around the design of water bodies. As for upcoming locations, we are looking at both metros and mini metros.”
