With the brand identity intact, the new P.N. Rao store has an augmented approach towards the way it presents itself.
P.N. Rao, well-known Bangalore-based suit makers since 1923, announced the launch of a new store at Koramangala, as a part of the brand's plan to move forward. With the brand identity intact, the store has an augmented approach towards the way it presents itself.
The store has been designed by by Vidiris Architecture led by Sunil Kumar, which according to the brand is an obvious choice for P.N Rao store designs. However, the brand has employed We Design for the interior, visual merchandising and facade treatment.
"An improvised attitude towards VM has given the store a classy look. Each segment of the store has been treated to suit its characteristics,†said Santosh Nair, Director - We Design. The P.N Rao Signature collection is the highlight of the store and the store design adheres to that fact.
Visual merchandising is enhanced by using imported props and category positioning- a concept not very familiar with P.N Rao earlier. To introduce the improvised look and feel, the facade wears a new mask which expresses the classier attitude of P.N Rao. A part of VM also includes the window concept creation which has been developed by We Design.
