Jaguar Land Rover India inaugurates new showroom in Kolkata

Jaguar Land Rover India recently announced the opening of Lexus Motors’ new showroom facility in the Rajarhat area of Kolkata. Lexus Motors has developed a state-of-the-art multi-level facility spreading over a total area of over 1,400 m². This showroom facility is designed and equipped to provide the highest quality sales experience. The facility can display 11 cars enabling the display of almost the full range of products from the Jaguar and Land Rover portfolio. The centre has been segmented over three levels, ground floor displays the Land Rover car range and merchandise, first floor having the lounge for customers and the second level displays the Jaguar cars and merchandise.   

Rohit Suri, President & Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd (JLRIL), said, “We are delighted to introduce our new showroom facility in Kolkata and are committed to easing accessibility for our customers to Jaguar and Land Rover products in the city. The opening of this ultra-modern showroom facility for our esteemed customers in an upcoming part of the city is in line with that objective.” 

Earlier the brand had a smaller showroom in main city of Kolkata but seeing the increasing demand of the customers the new investment has been done by launching such a huge facility centre, as informed by Suri. While talking to Retail4growth Suri added, “We have great hopes from the East market. So far Mumbai and Delhi NCR has been giving us good business and we see high potentials in this zone as well. Our cars are highly suitable for the Indian environmental conditions and geography, thus we have our customers cutting across a gamut of professions and age groups. When it comes to this particular showroom we got an ideal location which is developing and has high visibility among the target audience we cater to. This catchment is flourishing as well as very near to the airport. We also have ample car parking space in this facility centre and it is a great advantage while our customers comes and check out the entire range of our cars.”  

Jaguar Land Rover vehicles are available so far in India through 27 authorised outlets in Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Kochi, Karnal, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Pune, Raipur, Vijayawada and Surat.
