Bata launches its exclusive kids store format

Bata takes its kids private label Bubblegummers one notch up by rolling out kids exclusive stores. Two Bubblegummers stores have already opened their doors in Bangalore and the format is slated for a national rollout.

Leading global footwear brand Bata has recently started rolling out their kids-exclusive store format of their private label, Bubblegummers. Bata has already launched two store in Bangalore recently.

Talking more on the concept to Retail4Growth, Deepak Chakravarty, General Manager, Head Visual Merchandising & Retail Marketing, Bata India, shared, “We have created the store design and VM, keeping our kids customers at the centre of the concept. The brand and design story revolve around three Bubblegummer characters – Ami, Tim and Cat. The colourful interior also supports special 3D elements and VM in terms of special POPs for our comfortable footwear line, The Bubble Breath. We have also accommodated Disney merchandises in the store.”

The 2nd store, which is also flagship identity of the concept, is spread across approximately 1000 sq ft and is located at Bangalore’s Mantri Mall.

Bata launches its Red Concept

Bata’s new retail design identity focuses on red and white branding along with refreshed VM props, newer display systems, introduction of highlight zones and incorporation of digital walls and visuals. The concept has recently been launched at a few flagship before democratizing it to all premium outlets.

Bata India's Q2 net profit rises by 24%

Forging youth connect through upgrading product offerings and retail design along with VM and its media and in-store campaign, Bata India has reported a growth of 24% in its Q2 net profit.
